Being a good neighbour and contributing to the well-being of our community is a key priority for us. By listening to our local community and stakeholders we have developed a strategy that supports their needs. Steering groups operate at our main sites to keep decision making local and we encourage our employees to lend a hand and be active in our community.
We’re always happy to hear from our neighbours and if you want to find out more about British Steel and the role we play in our community please contact our Community Liaison Manager, Rachel Lawrence, by emailing Rachel.lawrence@BritishSteel.co.uk. You can also take a look at our Building Stronger Communities strategy for more information.
