Our Rail Technologies team returns once again with a spring term of Technology Tuesdays lunchtime webinars.
Rail Technologies Manager Dr Lindsey Smith said: “Last summer’s series was born out of a need to continue helping customers achieve more rail life with less track maintenance, in a time when meeting face-to-face was out of the question. Building on its success, we held an autumn term where we took things back to basics, looking at rail manufacturing, grade selection and a range of welding techniques.
“We were joined by attendees from right across the railway industry who repeatedly told us they want to know more about what we do and how we can help them.
“This term, we’ll be exploring the team’s combined rail and metallurgical expertise – helping the industry improve operational performance and railway safety.”
The new programme will begin on Tuesday 13 April from 12.30-13.15.
