Our 12 days of steel winners

Last month saw British Steel mark its first Christmas as the new British Steel with a fun and festive free prize giveaway. Named the 12 days of steel, British Steel branded merchandise was up for grabs each day for 12 days at britishsteel.co.uk.

Liz Brown, Communications Specialist – Brand and Digital Media, said: “This prize draw was a great opportunity to raise British Steel’s profile. The first 11 days involved a multiple choice question that helped showcase what we do and the things we’re helping achieve. A lucky winner was drawn at random from the correct responses. On the last day – Friday 23 December – we shared a short festive video message from our Executive Chairman Roland Junck.

“We had nearly 6,500 responses ranging from employees, customers, suppliers, students and members of the public, a great response. And the feedback has been positive too, with comments such as ‘a great way to learn a little general knowledge about the works, it was great to get involved and be a part of it.’ Thanks to everyone who helped out and supported this fun activity.”

Congratulations to the winners…
