New Fuchs deal for British Steel

British Steel has awarded a long-term contract to Fuchs Lubricants to become it's preferred supplier of lubrication products.

It comes after British Steel visited Fuchs’ Stoke headquarters to see the company’s extensive product range and strategy for continuous improvement.

Dean Winney, British Steel Site Planning Engineer, said: “Applying the correct oils and greases with improved techniques and schedules will give British Steel improved reliability and protection of the site operations.”

And British Steel Project Engineer Chris Allison said: “Fuchs supply an extensive range of products, and pursue improvement and development with enthusiasm which they were only too happy to show us during a recent visit to their premises in Stoke.”

Richard Halhead, CEO of Fuchs Lubricants UK, said: “We’re extremely proud and delighted to have been selected as the lubricants partner for British Steel. Fuchs continues to invest in the UK with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and continuous development. We’re committed to the UK market and ideally placed to support British Steel in its future success.”

Today British Steel hosted an event attended by Fuchs Lubricants to celebrate the new collaboration and the benefits of the new partnership.
