We’re exhibiting at Wire 2018, Düsseldorf to showcase our extended product and service offering.
Our Wire Rod team used the opportunity to meet up with customers. They’ve had lots of insightful discussions about our latest developments.
Wire Rod colleagues including Phil Knowles, Christoph Bross and Rachel Wood were delighted to meet with customer Kamax to discuss our strategy to deliver an extended cold heading product range.
Wire Rod Technical Account Manager Bruce Jones also caught up with IWMA. He said: “It was great to meet Geoff from the IWMA and introduce British Steel’s extended wire rod products to his guests from various downstream and support industries.
“One of the key messages I communicated was the way our dedicated technical team works closely with our customers to understand their downstream processing and technical requirements, and most importantly how we use this insight to add value to the supply chain.
“Through customised tailoring, we’re able to offer benefits such as yield improvement and reduced processing requirements. This has been a strong theme of the event.
“So far, Wire 2018 has been a fantastic experience. I’ve met lots of customers to discuss new and existing business - the event’s been extremely valuable to us.”
If you’d like to catch up with us, you can find us at Hall 12, Stand B34. We’re here until Friday 20 April so there’s still time to come and have a chat. Or if you’d like to know more about our wire products and services, drop us an email to wirerod@britishsteel.co.uk.
