6 - Spanish Epiphany

Three Wise Kings on Camels

Our colleagues in Spain will still be opening gifts a month today on Epiphany, 'the festival of the three magic kings', 6 January. Epiphany celebrates when the kings - or wise men - brought gifts to baby Jesus.

Festivities will occur across the country on Epiphany Eve, including numerous parades with bands and people in medieval dress banging drums and dancing puppets and clowns. Epiphany cake covered in candied fruits and nuts is a firm favourite in Spain, we wonder if our Spanish colleagues will share theirs with us!

Our sales office in Spain is located in Madrid, where one of the biggest Epiphany parades takes place. The office consists of a team of 2 people who help us cater to the Spanish market, mainly supporting our Wire Rod customers.
